SEVEN ESSENTNIAL TRUTHS FOR MY LIFE

Recite and repeat daily until you have them memorized

MEMORIZE

  • I will thank God for the unique way He has designed me, for I know I am fearfully and wonderfully made

Psalm 139:1-2

  • I will trust God to work through those He has placed in authority over me, to give me protection and guidance regarding the major decisions of my life.

Romans 13:1-2

  • I accept responsibility for the “NAME” of Jesus Christ, and purpose to keep the actions of my life clear of any behavior that would bring a reproach to Him, and my conscience clear of any offense that would cause anyone to doubt His integrity, or my commitment to Him.

1 Corinthians 6:20

  •  I will accept whatever suffering God may allow in my life; knowing He is using it to confront the selfishness that still exists in my life, so that He can conform me to the image of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

  • I will accept the daily irritations of life as God’s way of reminding me to deny myself, take up my cross, daily, and follow Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

Luke 9:23-26

  • I will discipline my mind to resist the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, and I will use the devil’s reminders of my failures as God’s motivation for me to continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord,

1 Peter 2:11

  •  I purpose to deepen my devotion to the Lord, to read a portion of His Word each day and to dedicate a specific time to Him in prayer each day. I also surrender my life unto His Lordship and allow Him to determine the most effective way He can use my life for His glory, for only then can I be truly successful.

Romans 12:1-2

“Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature,
and in favor with God and men!”
Luke 2:52

A STUDENT’S PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father, Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before You this morning, recognizing You as the
Creator and Sustainer of the universe;
the only wise and eternal God, who,
because of your grace and your grace alone,
I am privileged to call
ABBA! – MY FATHER!
As I leave my home and my family,
and enter into the school of secular education,
please guard my soul from the temptations of the world.
Give me the wisdom I will need to detect the lies of
the evil one,
and the knowledge I will need to refute them from
Your Word.
I ask to be filled, afresh and anew, with Your Holy Spirit,
so that the words of my mouth,
and the meditations of my heart,
will be acceptable in Your sight.
Father,
I ask, if it is according to your perfect will,
that You would anoint my mind for study,
my will, to be in submission to those in authority,
and my emotions to be controlled by Your Holy Spirit.
And If possible,
Please use my life as a witness of Your love and grace,
to those who have yet to experience it as I have
I ask this in the Name of the One who gave His life for me,
even Jesus Christ, Your Son, and my Savior,
Amen!
